NinjaTrader trades reach Fillbook two ways: a CSV export and live auto-sync with our NinjaScript add-on. Start with the CSV export: nothing to install, and it brings in your past history. Then switch on auto-sync, so new fills arrive by themselves.

Start here: import a CSV export

Nothing to install. It works on the Free plan and covers trades from before you installed anything.

  1. In NinjaTrader's Control Center choose New → Trade Performance, set the From and To dates, tick your account and press Generate.
  2. Choose Executions (or Trades), right-click the grid, choose Export, set "Save as type" to CSV and save.
  3. In Fillbook, go to Import → CSV, choose NinjaTrader from the platform list (or map columns manually if the auto-detected mapping needs a correction), and confirm.

Then switch on live auto-sync with the add-on

Install the Fillbook add-on (copy the file into NinjaTrader's AddOns folder and compile it), generate a sync token from your Fillbook account and paste it in. From then on, new fills push to Fillbook as they happen, with no export after each session. The add-on only reports fills that already happened and cannot place, change or cancel orders. Fills made before you install it are not backfilled, so import one CSV for older history. Your drawdown type, daily-loss limit and consistency-rule settings are entered once in Fillbook; the sync handles trades, not firm rules.

What Fillbook analyzes once trades land

The same analytics stack as every other Fillbook trade: R-multiple, setup and time-of-day breakdowns, Edge Score, and rule-based behavioral detection (revenge trading, overtrading) — computed from your synced NinjaTrader history the moment it arrives.

Plan requirement

Live NinjaTrader auto-sync is part of Core and Elite, and the 14-day free trial includes one supported auto-sync connection, so the add-on can be your trial connection. On the Free plan you can still import NinjaTrader trade history manually via CSV export with automatic column mapping.

Yes — the add-on installs inside your own NinjaTrader platform, so you need an active NinjaTrader installation to connect it. Without the add-on, NinjaTrader trade history can still be imported into Fillbook via CSV export.
